Mark Steele brings over 25 years of successful healthcare executive leadership experience in a variety of roles ranging from privately held to publicly traded organizations. Mark joined Nuance Medical in 2018 as the EVP, Sales & Marketing.
Prior to Nuance Medical, Mark worked for OrthoAccel Technologies, makers of an FDA-cleared medical device for the Orthodontic industry; was on the executive team for PE-backed Medical Specialties Distributors serving home care and oncology providers; and was President of NASDAQ-traded PSS/World Medical’s Extended Care Business, Gulf South Medical Supply, Inc. serving the skilled nursing and home care markets. Mark previously served as Vice President of Marketing for PSS/World Medical’s Physician Business. At PSS, Mark also held various sales and sales management roles. He holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
Brian joined Nuance in his current role in 2023. Prior to Nuance, Brian was VP of Finance & IT at Smart Wires, Inc., a leading developer of electrical grid technology. He has 17 years of medical products experience after serving in a variety of finance and operations management positions for Stryker, Wright Medical, SAFE Orthopaedics and Medtronic. He started his career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Brian graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration and from the University of Chicago with a Masters of Business Administration.
Tammy joined Nuance Medical in 2022 as the VP of Sales. Prior to Nuance Medical, Tammy worked for LINET Americas, the largest global manufacturer of acute care hospital beds and stretchers, as the Western Area Sales Director. Before moving to Linet, Tammy led the Heartland region with Advanced Sterilization Products, a Johnson and Johnson Company, which served the reprocessing and sterilization needs in the surgical arena. Tammy spent 10 years with Hill-Rom, the US market leader for hospital beds and nurse call systems, prior to working for ASP, where she held several roles including the Western Area Director of Corporate Accounts. She started her career in Nursing and holds a BSN, RN, MHA from Montana State University.
Kristy joined Nuance Medical as the Vice President of Product Management in July of 2022. Prior to Nuance Medical, Kristy spent 14 years of her professional career at Medline Industries, LLC. in varying senior and executive-level product management roles overseeing strategic development on everything from Curad® bandages to DVT pumps/sleeves to adult incontinence. Kristy also held roles at both Baxter and Medical Arts Press (a medical division of Quill/Staples). Kristy graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a Minor in Business, before later earning her MBA at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Ann joined Nuance in 2018 and currently oversees operations across Nuance’s facilities. Prior to Nuance, Ann was Director of Customer Service and Demand Planning for 8 years at Providien Medical, a medical device contract manufacturer. Prior to Providien she spent 9 years at Genesee Scientific, a global life sciences distributor. She holds an undergraduate degree from San Diego State University.
