Nuance Medical is pleased to continue collaborating with Steven Latiolais, DDS, by providing additional topical anesthetic products to support his dental mission team’s upcoming trips to Honduras.
The team is planning two trips in 2027, including a January 9–16 visit to Intibucá through the Honduras Baptist Dental Mission and another to Potrerillos. In Potrerillos, the team has worked for 15 years with a community whose school serves 620 children. Dr. Latiolais reports that the team has seen marked improvements in oral hygiene over that time.
Following last year’s donation, Dr. Latiolais shared that the dentists particularly appreciated using the single-use topical anesthetic swabs, which eliminated the need to repeatedly dip into shared jars. That feedback adds a meaningful connection to our continued support, helping us understand what the team values as they prepare to provide care.
